Definitions of Training and Development

Training is defined as follows by many expertise and literature.

“It is concerned with the knowledge, skill attitude, techniques & experiences which enable as individual to make his most effective contribution to the combined effort of the team of which he is a member”

Training is the process of assisting a person for enhancing his efficient and effectiveness at work by improving and updating his professional knowledge, by developing skills relevant to his work, and cultivating appropriate behavior attitude towards work and people.
